Welcome back to school fifth graders! We are very glad to have all of you in class, and we have quite a year planned. Get excited about READING some great books that I am sure you will enjoy as much as we do. In LANGUAGE ARTS you will get to write and illustrate your piece of historical fiction. In MATH you will tackle the world of decimals, fractions, and even some geometry. Explorers, the American Revolution, and the Civil War are a few of the exciting topics we will cover in Social Studies. In SCIENCE you will study the universe, electricity, the Animal Kingdom, and more. Fifth grade will be full of great learning experiences and lots of fun. We are looking forward to a great year!
