Throughout the year Mrs. Sasfai will be making classroom visits to present lessons that relate to the guidance curriculum. The curriculum is organized around the following three categories.

• Knowledge of Self and Others includes topics such as feelings, appropriate expression of feelings, making decisions, making and keeping friends and empathy building.
  
  
• Educational and Vocational Development includes topics that relate to study and learning skills, school expectations and planning for school.
  
  
• Career Planning and Exploration includes topics that relate to community jobs, work habits, and individual student abilities and interests. The Junior Achievement Program meets many goals of this portion of the curriculum.
