“How Does the PTO Do It All?”
The Wild Horse PTO supports a variety of school events, such as classroom parties, field trips, Fall Ball and Character Education. Look around the building and see the new foyer furniture, playground equipment and Smart Boards, all purchased by your PTO. And continuing this year is our Arts Partners program.
Remember that fundraising at Wild Horse Elementary is ALWAYS VOLUNTARY! There are many ways that you can support the PTO during the 2010-2011 school year. Feel free to choose from the following:
Entertainment Books - Coupon books are coming home September 28 this year. We keep 50% of each sale. Check out the new incentives!
Cookie Dough/Sally Foster Sales - Catalog sales begin August 25 and items are available for pick-up at your October 25 parent-teacher conference. On-line purchases of Sally Foster are delivered right to your door. Check out the all new wrapping paper, assorted gifts, specialty candies and cookie dough.
Wild Horse Marketplace - Back by popular demand! Start your holiday shopping at Wild Horse this year on Saturday, November 20. Or purchase a table for the event and showcase your own wares.
Trivia Night - Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the JCC. This wildly popular evening is for Wild Horse parents and staff.
General Mills Box Tops/Campbell Soup Labels/ Tyson Chicken Product Labels- You clip them… your kids turn them in to school… it’s that easy! The PTO earned more than $2,000 last year.
E-Scrip Cards at Schnucks - Pick up an e-scrip card from the school office, swipe it when you shop at Schnucks, and the PTO automatically receives a percentage of your purchase. All you have to do is shop!
Brick Sales- Purchase a piece of the school with your family’s own personalized brick. Installation has begun. Sales will begin again later this year.
Cash Donations - Last year a number of families made a voluntary cash donation in lieu of participating in one of our fundraisers. All donations to the Wild Horse PTO are tax deductible, and many companies offer a “matching program” to employees. If writing a check and avoiding the hassles of fundraising appeals to you, please send any donations to school in an envelope marked “PTO Donation.”
The PTO thanks you for your generous support!
