Character Education is an integral part of Woerther's school curriculum. The character education program is designed to teach and encourage nine character traits. The staff at Woerther will teach skills that will promote these traits the entire year, emphasizing one word per month. Character traits are taught and modeled through class discussions and activities. Although staff will be addressing these character traits at school, we realize that parents play the major role in their child's moral development. In order to connect home and school, we will be sending home monthly activities that focus on character education. Together we hope to create a partnership that reinforces these traits in each student's development.
