This week, we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day! We are so fortunate to have two wonderful secretaries in our office! Mrs. Philipps and Mrs. Brinkmeyer are always friendly, helpful and caring! They are dedicated to our students, families, staff members and our community.

We would like to thank Cheryl Brinkmeyer for always being such a wonderful role model for all of us! Mrs. Brinkmeyer is kind and considerate. She will do whatever it takes to help our students, staff and parents.

Officer Hawk stopped by on Tuesday to say hello to some of the students and staff. He enjoys our school's spirit and enthusiasm.
Last year, our Character Congress recognized Officer Hawk and the Ballwin Police Department for their strong support of our school.
It is always a great day when one of the officers from the department stops by to say hello! We sincerely appreciate all of their efforts to help us stay safe!

We want to thank our PTO volunteers for an outstanding Spring Book Fair! It takes many, many hours of planning, setting up, putting up displays and being here before and after school. We appreciated the evenings the Book Fair was open during the First Grade Concert and during the Parent/Teacher Conferences! We want to thank our volunteers for all of the extraordinary efforts in making this event such a success! 3/9/2012
Our students enjoyed having Buddy Lunches on our Early Dismissal Day this week. The students enjoy spending time with their buddy. The Buddy Lunches provide the students with a time to talk and relax.
We feel the connections the students make with older or younger students helps to build a safe and caring school environment! 3/2/2012
All of the students and staff members at Woerther are happy to be outside for recess! We are enjoying the fresh air and getting back to the games we love! You can find our students playing four-square, football, basketball, jump rope, tetherball and running the track. Our students make excellent use of our playground equipment!
Our students are kind to one another on the playground. They include others in games and practice good sportmanship! Woerther students are the best! 2/14/2012
Led by our super Character Congress, all of the students who ride the school buses created Valentines today for their bus drivers. Our students used the cards to thank our drivers for keeping them safe and taking care of them!
Once again, our students have let our drivers know how much they mean to all of us! 2/10/2012
We would like to thank our Character Congress for coming up with the great idea of having a "Decades Day!" Our students and staff members had fun dressing in their favorite decade attire! Our students, parents and staff members are very creative!

We would like to thank our PTO, Ballwin's PSO, Partners in Education, volunteers and all of the presenters who made the Science and Safety Night a spectacular event! We know that it takes many hours to put this event together, and we sincerely appreciate all of the hard work!
This is a yearly event that all of us look forward to all year!
